Welcome to the Introduction to Migration Training.
Please review the following resources in preparation for the session:

Pre-Session Activity: The Escape Journey

As part of your pre-session preparation, we will facilitate a discussion centred on The Syrian Journey, which highlights the real stories of individuals fleeing Syria. This feature explores the complex routes, options, and outcomes faced by refugees, shedding light on the difficult choices made by those seeking safety and a better life.

The ongoing conflict in Syria has left the country devastated, resulting in countless deaths and displacing millions. While some seek refuge in neighbouring countries, others take perilous journeys to Europe, often relying on traffickers and facing grave risks such as death, detention, or deportation.
