At Migration Yorkshire, we use the term 'migrants' to refer to people with a wide range of different types of status, including:
- refugees
- asylum seekers
- refused asylum seekers
- trafficked persons
- undocumented migrants
- migrant workers
- family migrants
- international students
For more information about different types of migrants, please see the "types of immigration status" quick guide on the refugee integration best practice guide page.
