Connecting Opportunities has been a really successful programme in supporting many people on their journey into work and training, raising confidence, aspirations and giving people hope. The project has been running since 2017 and so far has supported 1,648 migrants.
The model and the regional scale of the project has been unique and has enabled many migrants to access a range of support towards reaching their employment goals, which would otherwise not have been available to them in such an holistic way. We are all extremely proud of the project, our participants, not to mention our CO partners, staff, and volunteers, who have all contributed in supporting migrants over the last five and a half years.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support over the years. It has been an honour to serve these local communities and to see the positive impact we have had during our time. We will be working hard to look at other funding avenues going forward as ESIF funding is replaced by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
